Thread "Sirius Radio finally released for Android phones" merged with "Sirius Radio" and moved to Apps & Games section.

I checked it out.. Have a current subscription (wife's car, she doesn't want to deal with free streaming radio), but they still want me to pay more for access to this. Satellite radio is doomed IMHO. I'll be sticking with Slacker...

I agree.. I never liked Sat Radio...

I just remembered someone asking about this and thought I'd post it up. Slacker and Pandora are my choices..only if I'm not playing my own mp3's.

Thanks for the info though, I'm sure this will help some peeps!

Oh well, it works great!

yeah thats why i thought i'd let you guys know, kinda stupid to use there icon as the name then the Online as the title of the app.

but thats Sirius doing another decision, like they did when they eliminated channels and VJs from the programming :(
anymore it just feels like i'm listening to my ipod with no announcers to listen to. it was always nice to hear something in between to make it still feel like satellite radio and not my ipod, still some great music to be had.

I'll be nice and post the Sirius apk, Thank you's anyone? :)

edit: and for those that say you can't access this without paying extra, your wrong, you only have to pay extra if you don't already get the online Internet Premium access. $2.99 a month
but if you go a-la-carte with a receiver $6.99 + $2.99 a month isn't that bad, especially when you pay quarterly, you pretty much get a month free

That's right, we're downloading the brand new Sirius XM app to our favorite, not-at-all-fragmented Android handset as we speak. Sure, we don't actually have a paid satellite radio subscription, but if you hit up the source link you can sign up for 7 days free while you multitask it up against Robo Defense on your own phone. There's no mention on the download page of specific handset compatibility, so let us know if you have any trouble running the app on that Motoblur phone your mom bought you.

Right now, Howard is not on the app or any official apps because he doesn't want to be.

anyways, until theres a way to use the same plugin from the Sirius website for the online media player, theres no way to avoid an app solution.

the only way to listen to "blocked" channels online is by using an un-official app such as the WM6 Sirius player for WindowsMobile or on the PC via SiriusXMStreamer.

$2.99 a month for the use of premium internet streaming is to pay the royalties the artists demand to hear there music online rather than in the car.

anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but please be nice about it thats all i ask...

Re: Sirius Radio

Anyone have issues streaming via the application that has a Sirius Lifetime account w/
online streaming? I had no issues at all w/ my wm6 sirius application.

Gonna test out Skyfire now = No luck did not work for me :(
