Appreciate the confirmations kyderr... other threads expressed the same results for the most part. After my own testing, I pretty much just gave up on finding a "final" solution that allows BT hangups reliably, etc. I just forced my behavior to always hang up via the handset now, which is counter to using BT on my company CrapBerry phone.

The stack cannot be changed for the TP2s. Again, other threads have detailed this out. This is how HTC built things out for our model regardless of which chef's ROM you use (or stock even). It was interesting to see you able to replicate the issue in certain circumstances... I'll try to summarize this stuff on the wiki sometime.
