I think the reason for this is that the manilla is prob a different version 2.1 even tho it's streamlined.
I noticed some animations seem smoother.
EDIT:
Actually it prob not that , it's probabaly just the way the bottom slider is.
The tabs which hav vibrate & delay when pressed, but actually no delay because when you hold and drag to any tab there is no delay.
