Have it and I have made Full backups but I have never restored with it.
Does it restore as well as Sashimi?...

With a full backup and Sashimi I don't feel I have any need to worry with flashing. LOL
I also keep roms on my PC or backed up to DVD just in case.

Spb Backup should ONLY be used for backing up SAME ROM for testing out a prog, or accidental hard reset.

DO NOT "Spb Backup" Type Programs FOR RESTORING ON ANOTHER ROM!!
EVERY ROM or ROM VERSION will MOST LIKELY use different version Build, OEMs, SYS,XIP, DLLs, windows files, folders, startmenu setup, and of course registry settings that these type backup-progs will try to save.
Using any backup on another rom IS GUARANTEED asking for trouble....
ALSO, most roms now have "User Customization" and so they will LOOK AT YOUR MEM CARD on startup.
Problem is, with Progs like Sashimi, you may have set to install stuff thats no longer compaitible, or older copy of what is already cooked.
TAKE OUT MEM CARD, and/or update your Sashimi for muti-rom stuff that you know will not cause incompatabilities.

Hard reset without mem card inside.

This way, when it does a hard reset, it will also format the SD Card so that there is nothing on it that could cause you to conflict.
Then go ahead, and install the apps from you back up folder one at a time, and soft reset after each install, and see which app is causing you problems. its a bit of a pain, but once you do it, you can get rid of that cab file, instead of not knowing what is causing it.

Yes, i think I've tried every combination now....
I think we've rulled out 9/5 to 9/6 as being the cause, since 9/5 has the same issues. The flashing of both a dumped stock image and a shipped stock image (Sprint) also made no difference. I don't know what other variables to try....
|
Instead of flashing to stock, WHICH YOU ALREADT TRIED!,.. Try Flashing to SSK (!), then back to ENERgy!
THIS WORKED FOR ME, but I cannot guarantee it will work for you!!!
Also remember if you have email set to automatically retrieve, and you are either "send/receiving" or you are "webbrowsing"...
THE SWItching of the data to recieve call may give similar delay prob with possible miss call on some roms.

We now know who uses AVG and mcaffee and it is embarrasing to have to tell you guys these products are inferior and if you want free and better try somethin like Avast!

your clock reflection made a number look like an eight, but if the reflection was slightly slanted it would look cooler, yes?

Nice.

I am guessing if you look at the files within the cabs installed, you should see which ones have copies, and if you delete the first before the next that copies over, then you wont need to install "in order"

Advance Config- (in programs tab):
menu/more settings/connections/"disconnect after" box/ select drop-down for choice of minutes.
Sorry long post, hope that helps!
