HTC Home Extra (6tabs) + HTC Home Customizer for WM5/6

Requirements: PPC WM5/6
Overview: I found it in another forum.........
Has just spent some time to re-packaged into new cab file
"Helmi - HTC Home (6tabs)", "emunutz - HTC Home Customizer 0.8b"
In the re-packaged,
1. Has merged some extra program executable files.
2. Self-created some Windows Mobile control panel link files.
So I've decided to call my re-packaged version as "HTC Home Extra" '
Both program has running fine on my Asus P535 on WM5 and the free upgraded to WM6 operating system.

HTC Home Extra function :

1. Can be installed on WM5 and WM6
2. Created a new "HTC Home extra" folder in "Start Menu > Programs" folder
Inside this folder contained some self created WM5/6 control panel Settings links.
These including the very useful "Running Programs" link that belong to, "Memory" function has been inserted onto the HTC Home "Launher" tab.
Activate this link will provide you the "Running Programs" function that allow you to instant stop a selective or all running programs in the background which most of the WM programs could not stop from running by pressing the X button in the program windows.
This has similarity function as the "HTC X-Button, Task Manager" closing program action.
3. Has merged the "SoftReset and TaskManger v2.7.0.1" program into "HTC Home extra" folder too.
2. Created a new "HTC Home extra" folder in "Start Menu > Programs" folder

HTC Home Customizer 0.8b extra files :
1. Has gotten all the Background, Clock Theme... files integrated into my re-packaged version. So everybody need not use this program "Download" function to re-download all the extra package files 1-by-1.

2. Installed this program on,
Phone memory, would take about half a minute to startup.
Memory card, would take about half 4~5 minute to startup.

Grab them here

It looks like he is using Phone Alarm which can be found here:

http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html

SPB Phone Suite is another similar program that I use and it works well. Here's the link:

http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/phonesuite/?en

I prefer SPB Phone Suite but it's really just a matter of preference. They are both very good programs.

Hope that helps

I have a question as I just got the Mogul. I have installed the 6 tab version of HTC HOME and the 8b customizer. It seems I can only get some of the functionality working. No matter what I do, I cannot get the clock to change fonts although I can get the weather icons to change to that 'Stardock' format. I have alreadt uninstalled both apps (with softboots in between) and reinstalled them one at a time with soft boots in between. Nothing. Anyone have any thoughts? You can PM me if it will keep this thread cleaner. Thank you.

works on my treo

FYI: This DOES work on my Treo 700wx. I didn't need anything additional to install either!

I haven't had any problems with it for 24 hours. Runs great! I have been looking for a HTC Home plug in for the treo!!

The only thing I have noticed is that when making/recieving a call, the Home plugin is covering the call details, so you can't see call duration or who you are calling... is that the "Active Call" thing that was added?

You can get pocket rar or win rar for your phone to open the files than install the cab files from there.
