S2U2 Problem

First I installed Slide Actions, then I installed S2U2 and everything worked perfectly fine. Then I installed HTC Home Customizer v1.0 Final but it didn't work so I unistalled that one again and restarted the phone. Now the phone is locked, I get the S2U2 slide thing but it won't move, I can't unlock the phone anymore. I can restart it but S2U2 automatically starts and locks the touchpad and keys so I can't do anything. I tried software and hardware reset but since the keys are locked I'm not getting anywhere. I'm just staring at the locked phone. Any ideas what I could do? Please?

Re: S2U2 Problem

If you cant get any button responses then the only option is a hard reset unfortunately. See if ActiveSync will work if so try and remove the S2U2 Folder

Re: S2U2 Problem

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is, I can't do the hard reset because the keys I need to do so are locked. And when I try to connect with ActiveSyn I only sometimes manage to get a connection, when I do I can look into the folders but can't delete anything. So I can't delete/uninstall anything, I can't turn the phone on, I can't do a soft or hard reset. I think there's really nothing I can do except go to the shop now, is there? Or do you maybe have another idea?

Re: S2U2 Problem

Sadly it really does not work. I've tried several times and have held the keys for about a minute but nothing happens. I've tried it when the phone is completely turned off, while it is starting and I'm seeing the o2 Logo, while I'm seeing the Windows Mobile Logo, while it is on and the keys are locked but all to no avail.
I think there's really nothing to do but bring it to the shop. But thanks for the help!

Re: S2U2 Problem

potionmaster you do not need to take to sprint it does not sound like you are doing it completly correct. hold the answer and hangup buttons at the same time and while continuing to hold them do a soft reset styles in bottom you will get a message to do hard reset.

Re: S2U2 Problem

That is exactly what I have been doing. I held both answer and hang up buttons and at the same time pressed the soft reset button. As I said, nothing at all happens. No matter how long I hold all buttons and it usually should not take longer than a few seconds for the hard reset message to pop up right? But really nothing happens.

How do you assign your caller ID pics? I am guessing through the native Contacr Manager. DON'T!!!!! Assign pics through A_C's S2V (Slide to View). The native one automatically resized the pics, and they get that blurry view, but S2V does not, and you will get a clear image even on full-screen caller ID.

If you don't have S2V, I will post the link to the original(XDA seems to be down right now), but I am sure it is in here as well!!

EDIT: I found the thread in here (in case you need the app): http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=slide2view
