JiveTalk Alpha (0.9.0) updated 6/10/08

Beejive has released a test build of JiveTalk, an IM app Blackberry and iPhone users may be familiar with. I've been real pleased with the Blackberry version, it works better than any WM IM app I've used to date. The account list shows it to support AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Myspace IM and Yahoo. I use MSN and AIM and don't know or care about the rest, but they're listed so I'd guess they work. Check it out at www.beejive.com.

Wow, I've only been using it for a a few minutes but I am really impressed. It seems like the best client I have used by far.

Re: JiveTalk Alpha

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed too. I wrote to note the lack of a scrollbar on the contact list. They replied that it appears when you click on the right side of the list and the list is scrollable like the TouchFlo interface. And so it does...impressive. I'm most interested in seeing how it handles disconnects due to voice calls and the like and hoping it's as solid as it's Blackberry counterpart.
