Bluetooth issues

I never really used bluetooth with my Epic until recently, when I installed a new radio in my car with handsfree capabilities. At first they paired flawlessly and I could make and receive calls, but now when I attempt to answer a call, the phone freezes, as does the unit. I can make calls fine, unless I try after this freezing mess. Sometimes when I restart my phone, it all also vibrates numerous times and shuts itself off. It's being very weird.

I'm running EC05, rooted, with Voodoo kernel. Any advice?

Re: Bluetooth issues

Any reason you haven't upgraded to gingerbread? And if you want to keep Froyo, what kernel specifically. Cause a bunch of kernels have voodoo.

I'm dumb and lazy, that count? I was tempted to do the OTA update, but I didn't know if it'd delete anything or even let me do it, so I just ignored it. Should I do that?

As for the kernel, Genocide EC05 Kernel 2.0 (I think). I don't NEED it, but I'd like it. I used it to get better audio and have more control.

Re: Bluetooth issues

Just to be clear, I'm not lazy in the sense that I won't help myself, I just didn't really consider doing the upgrade.

Re: Bluetooth issues

You can make a clockwork backup of your rom and give it a shot and see if it helps solve your issue. If I were to guess it might be kernel related.
