Just curious, am I being too critical or is Sprint just lazy/slow? I'm mean this phone came out AFTER the Epic and their update looks significantly better then what Sprint just pushed...

Verizon Rolling Out Samsung Fascinate Update | PhoneNews.com

"Following up on the Droid X update, Verizon will also be rolling out an update to the Samsung Fascinate to address certain issues such as syncing between phone/email account sync, faster 3G /1xRTT handoffs, phone search while on a call, instant notification of Visual Voice Mail in the messaging bar, improved Exchange password alerts, faster notification when switching to airplane mode and the removal of the no service audio alert. While no specific date has been confirmed, the update is expected to roll out this week."

Re: 2.1 update 2 (sept 16, 2010)

um. im not really having any of those problems on my epic. this update doesnt address any of the real problems were having on the epic either. poor gps proximity, text timestamp problem, capped 3g upload speeds. this update doesnt mention any of these things, so either the fascinate doesnt have these issues, or this is just a fluff update comparable to the sprint update. personally, it makes me glad our phone didnt launch with these issues as well.
