NetFront 3.5 (no, its NOT slow)

http://www.access-company.com/produc.../35_wm_tp.html

Okay so I installed this browser and its wicked fast. It zooms flawlessly, it renders pages in full (there are some issues with Engadget Mobile that are bugging me but it renders my full Myspace page even, which used to crash Opera and PIE would take literally 5 minutes to process), and it scrolls TOTALLY smoothly.

If you are waiting for Skyfire like I, download this, you won't be disappointed!

Much better than earlier Netfront versions. A little slow, I think I'll stick with Opera Mini running under JBed for now. I don't like the fact that a zoom out only gives you a view of part of the web page, and not the whole page. I felt I had to scroll too much to get to the section of a web page I wanted to read. Loading is much faster than IE, but not as fast as Opera Mobile or Mini.

Incidentally I actually prefer browsing on Opera Mini over Mobile Safari on the iPhone (which I also own), because Opera Mini intelligently sizes text on zoom in. On the iPhone I end up zooming in/out/scrolling every which way like crazy to read a paragraph on cnn.com, with Opera Mini, I don't.

Edit: The bookmark browser is neat but gimmicky.

Yeah I was waiting on Skyfire too, but hell I will use this for now. The browser is lightening fast. I can't believe this is just a BETA version.

I downloaded Opera mobiIt is much better IE, but now I using NetFront 3.5 and it is amazing. It is so fast and the page moves around as if on air. This is now my browser of choice. Skyfire will have have a hard time beating this.

I've got both skyfire and this, and I think skyfire is better.

There is no softkey for back... you must click operation, back
Fonts are weird... like courier new or something... ugly
The zooming is unruly, it is difficult to navigate a page
Myspace still hasn't loaded, and what I see isn't nice

In skyfire, myspace loaded very nice, fast. Even played music off of a friend's page. Also, skyfire keeps the screen lit. Not something everyone likes, but I do.

If I didnt have the skyfire beta, I'd stick with opera mini.

This is the best browser I've played with thus far. Webpages are rendered well and quickly. The finger flick action works well. I think the zoom in and out feature works weel; particularly when you can see the zoomed in image moving in the background of the zoomed out image. Of course, Skifire and Opera 9.5 are coming out soon, but until then this is my browser of choice.

The font seems to be a bug... if you go to the settings and hit fonts, then choose Tahoma and close it, it stops using Courier.

Are there any keyboard shortcuts for this browser that would be useful? Anything for increasing or decreasing the zoom level? I know the double tap zoom, but sometimes in zoomed in mode I like 75% and sometimes 100% depending on what I am reading. Does anyone know of a list of these command if they exist?
