Yes. You have to go in and change the time settings. Make sure you're on daylight savings time because if not, even though you send a text out a 3pm and the person responds back at 3:05pm, it'll say the text was recieved at "11am". I know, I've had this problem once before.

Yeah, I had owned mine for like 3 months and I was messing around with the settings(trying getting used to everything on my phone) then I started having that same issue. I went to Verizon and everything. Spoke to the tech lady at the store then spoke ON the phone with another tech guy and while I was on hold, I happen to, once again, start messing around with the time settings and viola!!! It worked!!

Re: timestamp on sms message off by 4 hrs?

I found somewhere, and can't remember where it was, that this is a bug in either verizon's or samsung's software.

One of the suggestions was to have your time, in the Samsung world clock, to set the Automatic system time zone update to "On".

Re: timestamp on sms message off by 4 hrs?

I tried to change my clock settings, but it was already correct. I am running on a 6.5 ROM if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be appreciated.

On 6.5, there is no Samsung World Clock so therefore, set both of the zones the same, as in which ever time zone you're in.

I don't see a "Daylight Savings" option in any of the settings.
