Hiding or Locking content?

I was wondering if there was anyway to password lock or hide pics on the Driod X. Lets say you have some Pics of your significant other that is a little more than PG-13 and dont want your friends to see when they're looking at you album. With my old WM devices I could hide them in random files but I can figure anything out with the Android system. Any suggestions?

Re: Hiding or Locking content?

I've heard of a couple methods:

1. Renaming the folders and placing a "." (no quotes) at the beginning of the folder name. For example, make a folder and call it: .Private

2. Creating and placing a .nomedia file in the directory you don't want the gallery to see.

You can still browse to the directories through a file manager (Astro, EStrong, etc) but it won't show up in the Media Gallery. I use the .nomedia file method

I've attached the .nomedia file in a zip file if you want to download it.
