how do you know if gps is working?
i got my phone to work after installing coke 2.31 and the leak rom ..and now i open sprint navigation and try using gps noting happens just sits there i open compass and at the bottom of the screen is says no gps if i hit current location noting happens plz help.

try using livesearch...
also, go into your Windows folder and double tap PPST.exe, this activates the gps. itll soft reset and then you should get a gps lock within 15-20sec your first time |

It depends on his rom though. Not all roms include ppst, and its carrier specific.

i have the leaked 3.02 sprint rom and it worked out for me... do you have it in your windows directory?

get the gps viewer cab. then click scan to see if the gps is found.

use GPS Viewer and also remember to turn on location settings (under settings>personal>phone>services>) I have yet to see a rom able to set this to default on.
