Internet sharing Guru's. Question about sprint leaked ROM

I just flashed the leaked sprint ROM and went to delete the above and it wasn't there. I use internet sharing a lot and am concerned that with the new ROM sprint changed things. Any one else notice this?

It was there on mine, I even got the error 67 when I tried to tether without deleting that entry. Are you using the Kitchen or the actual Sprint ROM. Did you let the Sprint customization run or did you reset before it started? I let the it run on mine. I beleive the kitchen would have had this removed. I also changed the other registery stuff that's supposed to stop Sprint from seeing that you are tethering (Same XDA thread where you go the InternetSharing info from)

hey instead of rilphone there I have isext.dll. Anybody know what this does?

I put on the "stock" system and I have isext.dll as the Extension setting. Wonder what that is?

yes i have the isext.dll also. i'm running the stock sprint with customizations.

anyone have any ideas on what isext.dll does? paging luv2chill

I got same isext.dll and my regedit wont let me have access to change it??? nebody?

So yea I had the isext.dll, just load a regedit for ppc on to the phone and delete the isext.dll registry entry. you can get freeware regedit here

pick the Pocketpc 2002 2003 arm/pxa version from the download section
copy to phone memory or sd card and install

registry entry is here

just erase the string that says isext.dll
thats it, internet connection sharing should now work.
whether sprint knows if youve done this or not?? who knows probly not but dont send me a bill if they hit you for tethering on your bill.

it works, deleted the isext.dll entry on the registry, went to internet sharing connect through USB, and using Sprint PCS & NOT Phone as modem, and it connected just fine.
