How to get a delivery message on htc to touch

I have not upgraded my rom, i have my origanial rom from sprint but i have seen phones have a delivery receipt when a text message is sent. i would like to do this on a htc touch. is there a way to do this at all ? thanks in advance.

I used Advanced Config which can be found here: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...ools-v1-1.html. It is very simple to change and please note that the application must stay installed on the phone once the setting has been changed. If it is removed, the setting will be reverted.

maybe advanced config is turning it off. i thought that msg was standard and not an 'user' accessable option.
