Touch Pro BLANK SCREEN!!??

Got my TP from Best Buy on 11-12, everything was purrrfect. Flashed Yay4Juggs latest rom one week ago, tonight was out and about with the family xmas shopping, went to make a call, and my screen was blank!? I did a soft reset, because I thought the phone had froze, due to the cold NYC air, but how could it, if it was under my toasty warm Sean John goose down?? Well, after the soft reset, the phone comes back on fully, I place it back in the holster, and continue enjoying the time with my family. About 45 minutes later, I go to make another call, screen is off , I hit the power button, doesn't come on AGAIN! BTW, I hit the power button the first the first time it happened. Sooooooo, I attempt another soft reset, and the screen doesn't come back on, after boot up! I know this isn't due to the custom rom right? Or could it be? Also, does anyone think Best Buy will allow me to exchange the phoneeven if it's 2 days past the 30 allowed?

well if it doesn't work thats a manufacturer, so it has to be covered. and well if youre out with the family... wy are you making calls? lol

okay first of all, i did state something beneficial, but yes mostly likely it was the rom because if it never occured before, and since its been cold for the past month, it would most likely be the rom.

if you can get the screen to come back on...I would reload the stock rom just to verify it is not Yay4Juggs rom causing the problem, just make sure you backup your contacts.

Also there is a thread about Diamonds that are "Unlock" going blank and useless.

Hmm, sounds like that may be my problem. I cannot get the screen to come back on. It's dead as Abe Lincoln. I'll check that Diamond thread. Do you know of anyone who has been able to return & exchange?

*UPDATE* Ok, screen is dead, AND my TP is DEAD. Won't charge, start up, power on.. nada! The good thing is, I called tech support, and they're sending me a brand new Pro (2-3 days). Oh, and I got my Pro from BB more than 30 days ago!

My TP went dead the same way. Screen went dead, stayed dead for about 2 days, then turned back on. The phone was never the same. It would reset itself for no reason, the phone froze within TF3d, and was just overall sluggish. My replacement TP is perfect though *knock on wood*
