Signal Repeater Antenna

Has anyone used one of the booster antennas for the Touch Pro? They are supposed to be a signal repeater to help with signal. One can be had for $20.00

Also I need a second battery, where is a good place to get one? Probably OEM.

They are a load of crap, update your PRI or reflash your radio if you want to help your signal.

Re: Signal Repeater Antenna

what is the pri?

well I've tried several radios, i don't notice much difference to be honest. I'm right up the road from an alltel tower and I think because I dropped my phone it has done something to my reception. I have only dropped it once. But I still get 4 bars if right in a large city.

Re: Signal Repeater Antenna

Basicly it is a list for your phone to tell it what towers to hit for a signal, you can find a "update PRI" in your settings menu. four bars out of how many?

I'm using one of these- http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Exten.../dp/B000A3OLZC

and it works great, closer to $200 than to $20...

Re: Signal Repeater Antenna

No, they will send it for free and waive the monthly charge if you are in a low signal area. I've had one for over a year now and love it.

And to correct the previous poster a PRL is not a list of towers. It's a list of cellular systems that your phone can roam off of. It will not increase coverage for native signal.
