Thanks, I ordered 3. Looks good and for the price who cares about the quality as long as it doesn't fry the device.

Actually, be careful about charging fast. It may reduce battery life. From what I understand, you want to charge slow. Stay away from 10-minute battery chargers in any cell chemistry, NiMH or Li-Ion.

Check that the cell does not get hot while charging.. Most cells die from overheating, getting cooked to death, or overdischarge but I don't think the latter is possible in the TP as it cuts off before any damage occurs (I hope)

Re: I need a good car charger

your other option is getting one of the 5v car cig plug to USB and just use a USB cable.

Re: I need a good car charger

i have found that this is the best solution for a car charger

every other charger i have bought has broken or just stopped working

this one is tiny, barley pops out of the electrical outlet. The other usb port chargers on ebay are garbage and brake easily like other chargers, this is one is partly made of metal.

It's not a "rapid charger" per say. It still takes 1hr to charge from 0% to full on this guy. The phone doesn't get any hotter than normal, unless you're charging, using GPS, and running other stuff to...but it would do that under max load even if it's not charging.

Re: I need a good car charger

I personally use the HTC OEM charger from Newegg. I bought 1 for my wife's diamond and 1 for my TP and 1 for my 6800.
