I need a good car charger
 

Hello,

I've gone through 2 car chargers now. FIrst one was a bootleg motorola one which wouldnt even get recognized by my tp. Second one was a generic miniusb, that the tp would act like it was charging but never did. The HTC oem one is like $25, anyone have any luck with anything cheaper?

i have been using a moto charger from my K1m for both my 6800 and TP with no problems. it was just a cheap charger i picked up from a store that had them. nothing special about it. when your charging are you running any programs?

I used the one that came with my bluetooth GPS. It looks super generic, so I wouldn't worry. Just try to see if you can get a charger that outputs at around 500ma to 1A, preferably 1, but I'm not sure if car chargers handle power outputs that high.

I have been using this one and LOVE it!

Charges SUPER FAST and it's very cheap. It may take you a week to get it as it's coming from Hong Kong, but it's tough to beat the price.

i use a cheap moto charger from the mall kiosk and it works great!

i would recommend rocket fish car charger its the best I've not had one problem (knock on wood) lol but my charger before i went through 6 of them they kept shorting out but you can get rocket fish from best buy anywhere! :)

Yeah they're $25 but if your thinking long term, they are definitely the way to go. I got two & had em ever since I had my Mogul.

I got an IGo from Radio Shack. It has a removable tip for a multitude of different devices I currently have one for my TP and my IPod Touch. It is expensive but worth it. 30 bucks with one tip and 10 bucks for each other tip.

i second the igo iv had mine since my first pda phone about 4 years ago. Since then iv had PPC 6700, Treo 700wx, HTC Touch, Treo 800, and now Touch Pro. Same charger still working just fine and now i have 3 different tips.

I second, second the iGo. I have used mine on a lot of phones: samsungs, htcs, sanyos (all pluarl), as well as my ipods and other stuff. I think you need iTip A53 for the TP (its free with the charger)
