home button panel sticking out?

Is it normal for one side of my bottom panel buttons to be sticking out non-flush from the case? The side with the back and hangup button is is basically flush with the rest of the phone, but the opposite side tends to stick up. I just checked, and it is possible to grab it and lift it completely above the surface of the phone and stick a fingernail under it!

I'm kind of upset, since I just got my invisible shield a few weeks ago and spent an hour getting it installed...

Re: home button panel sticking out?

It's a known quality issue.. Sucks, but you should send it back because it will get worse.

Re: home button panel sticking out?

Mine developed this problem over a couple of months... I am already on my second TP, and everything else is working well, so I didn't want to exchange it. I just ended up pulling the panel up enough to get some epoxy underneath (to where it is supposed to be glued to), and it has been fine ever since. The panel sits nice and flush now!

I had the same problem. I exchanged it and got a new one and haven't had the problem since.

Re: home button panel sticking out?

if you have insurance sprint tech center if not HTC......quit buying phones at best buy they are helpless there and dont know what they are talking about and dont helkp you when you have problems....it got so bad at the best buy near our store that we now refuse to help best buy customers bc best buy screws up the accounts....people now come to our store and best buy lost 33% of their sprint customers so far ( i know someone that works at the best buy as well ...they complain about us stealing customers all the time)
