*VIDS* Best availible quality for YouTube...
I have been experimenting to achieve the best possible video quality for YouTube upload. What I use is
Resolution : CIF (352x288) Capture Format : H.263 This will create a .3gp file. On my YouTube channel I have a few videos comparing a dark-room .3gp upload and an outside video where I uploaded the .3gp and the same video where I converted to .avi before uploading. My video description Code:
** READ MORE INFO ** Another HTC Touch Pro video test, this time in sunlight. The video quality is slightly improved and less choppy when lighting conditions are better. I converted the .3gp to .avi before uploading to YouTube to see if that affects the quality any. The .3gp file uploaded before converting to .avi was 3.27 MB. The file after converting to .avi was 26.9 MB. **Converting to .avi before uploading to YouTube is what works the best. If you play the .3gp version of this video and the .avi side by side you will see a noticeable increase in the quality and decrease of choppiness of the .avi compared to the .3gp. Also, using the .avi allows you to watch in HIGH QUALITY .** I used DVDVideoSoft (free) to convert my .3gp into a high quality .avi. |
