visual voicemail
<p>so a buddy of mine just got a voyager from verizon and has awesome feature where he no longer has to dial his voicemail...all he has to do is click on his missed call and the voicemail plays. it polls for voicemail like every 3 minutes or something...anything like that for the pro? i hate callng my voicemail lol</p>

Yeah there's a program called Visual Voicemail for VZ
The CAB installer is available on this forum
There's a whole 5 or 6 page thread dedicated to that

Another nifty trick for Verizon:

Go to your Phone Settings, at the top you will see:
Voicemail: *86

You can have it automatically enter in your passcode by changing it to:
Voicemail: *86pp1234# (replace 1234 with whatever your voicemail passcode is)


(p= 1 second pause)

There was some thread about visual voicemail for Sprint, but it was horrible. The program was cool, but after I set my VM to the number they wanted I relized you had to put in some voicemailbox extension... which only one person (me) knew. I am sure this will come, but as far as I know, its not here yet.
