Message tab "Menu" non-functional

When I press the menu button on my messages tab, nothing happens. I really don't want to delete all of my manila files to restore defaults because i got it exactly the way I want it.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?

I'm assuming you've tried doing a soft reset? I experience this issue sometime in landscape mode. I'll hit the email/text button on the screen and nothing happens. After a soft reset, all is fine. Don't understand why it stops responding like that. Everything else on the phone works

I'll try a soft reset, but what I found was that after installing things in order and checking, I found that the manila file that removes the sprint music logo is the culprit :/

Well, I guess i'll just have to put up with the music store banner in order to create text messages more easily.

Have you installed Call History or Calendar tabs? This will cause the menu to not work anymore in text messages

i dont think its the sprint banner thing. probably something else.

I have a slightly similar problem.

The menu works, but one of the buttons says 'IDS_MESSAGING_FORWARD...' under New, above Delete.

Well everything works up until I install the music logo manila file. I don't know what else it could be... The filename is 26948339_manila.

@freeza - I tried those before and had noticed the same issue, but then i found a cab that worked. 15 tabs, and the menu item worked. When I tried to use that package's 26948339_manila file, it sent tf3d into a startup loop.
