Question Invisible Shield Installation

I bought the full body CDMA version of Zagg's Invisible Shield for the Touch Pro and the back and front two pieces seem easy to install. Im having trouble matching up the rest of the pieces with the phone. The "Shield" doesn't come with specific instructions for the TP so I was wondering if anybody has seen a installation video specifically for this. I've been lookin and haven't found one yet.

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

oh, its not fun. When i put mine on, it was a bit of a challenge. I called them up, they tried to walk me through it. Talk about a complete ordeal. I had to tell the rep what to google for so she could see the same photos i was looking at.

After all of it, she sent me a new one because i had screwed up the first one. I still have not put it on. But when i do i'll make some video on how to do it. Maybe this weekend.

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

They won't turn yellow within a few weeks, but after a long time, the edges tend to become discolored. Doesn't really affect the performance, but if you really stare at the battery cover all day, it might be a little unattractive

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

Ive got the full shield installed on mine. It works great but the installation was kind of tough. Some of the pieces stretch a bit when you apply them so you have to be careful about throwing off the alignment. I used plenty of solution, latex gloves (that's what she said) and separated the pieces before removing the backing. I started with what I knew and then checked logical places for what I didn't, considering button placement, etc.

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

I installed the bestskinsever one piece at a time, especially the small side pieces. I used a solution of water and small amount of soap. Made sure each piece was in place and let it dry overnight if I couldn't install the next piece without bumping the already installed pieces. The results were great. I did have to cut a hole for the camera, since the skin is a little blurry.

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

Ok... I found this how-to on installing the I.S. on a HTC Fuze. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31OKbH5uRIg
I figured it wouldn't be too different from the installation of a Touch Pro. The video comes in 3 parts (the 1st one doesnt really say anything)

I installed this skin today with no problems. Didn't cut a hole for the camera and took pics afterwards, no problems and no seen smudges. happy!

Re: Invisible Shield Installation

Quick question, can you still remove the battery door cover without removing the shield?

Also, how does it affect the slide function when pulling out the keyboard?
