PROBLEM: Sliding keyboard open ... launches previous background app

Has anyone encounter this issue..

Example.

If I have core player running ...and switch over the my text messages (or any other program). Then I slide open my keyboard, it will revert back to core player.

UPDATE..FIXED

Reason:
I replaced (copied over the file) HTCvolumeControl.dll because the rom i was using had a differnt one.

Resolution:
I deleted it HTCvolumeControl.dll (rom restored the file) and i'm back to normal.

I'm assuming it was a bad HTCvolumeControl.dll ... or that particular version didn't work well with the rom.

No, i haven't received that problem! Maybe there a bug in core player. Try media player instead of core player and see what happens.

Are you using stock ROM or custom ROM?

Re: PROBLEM: Sliding keyboard open ... launches previous background app

Whenever I click on text messages and then slide open my keyboard and start typing, it goes to TF3D and then the dialer after it.

Re: PROBLEM: Sliding keyboard open ... launches previous background app

To duplicate this probem: (at least for me)

1. Call your HTC using a landline or another cell phone.
2. Answer the call and hang up.
3. Now open your htc to landscape
4. Dialer should show up all the time. Sucks.

The only way I can temporarily fix the landscape issue is either do a soft reboot or kill and restart cprog.exe.

Re: PROBLEM: Sliding keyboard open ... launches previous background app

Yup, I've got the same problem. Slide out the keyboard and the HTC control page or contacts always shows up. Really frustrating. Soft reset is the only thing that seems to make it go away, and it keeps coming back. Anyone know of a fix for this on the Sprint Touch Pro?
