How to remove the battery?

Stop laughing. The nice girl at Best Buy slapped the thing in there when she activated it and I've never removed it since, but will need to eventually.

Yes, I've looked at the quick start guide from the box. It's no help. I don't see a place to pry it out and I damn sure ain't going in there with a wedge of some kind and cause damage.

Help please. I'm sure it's blindingly obvious once you're told or shown how. Thank you.

Re: How to remove the battery?

Once you take the cover off, on the bottom right side of the battery there is a tab that you use to lift up the battery, it helps if you have nails.

Somehow your answer is fitting, given your Calvin & Hobbs ani-gifs. I think I'll do it veronica's way, no offense meant...

Re: How to remove the battery?

Hold your TP with both hands have the Mini USB port pointed at you and the screen pointed down with both thumbs press gently on the bottom corners of the back cover. You will be pushing the cover from the bottom towards the top, this will release the back cover. Next in the bottom corner of the battery you will see a open area with a thumb nail tab. Bottom right hand corned with the mini USB pointed at you and the screen pointed down. Take your thumb nail and at the thumbnail tab lift up and the battery will come out
