Why does sprint boost up the Rant and the Instinct but not the Pro or Diamond?

I don't understand. The Pro and Diamond are the hottest phones available for sprint but you never see a commercial for them. There are plenty of commercials for the new Rant and the Instinct. Does the Pro sell itself? Maybe it doesn't need commercials. Whaddaya think?

The Pro and Diamond sell itself to PPC Geeks like us...

The Instinct and Rant are user friendly devices for the average phone user, and appeal to a larger crowd. Some people find our PPC's too confusing.

Exactly. Alot of us ppcgeeks are having problems with this phone and we're way more advanced than the general population.

Plus, it's CHEAPER. Not everybody wants to spend a few hundred on a phone.

There are two more reasons that I can think of

1. The Instinct and ?Rant are exclusive to Sprint. Why would they want to market the Diamond and TP when you can go to ATT and get one.

2. I remember reading somewhere that Samsung is giving Sprint money to co-market the phone. Maybe HTC doesn't have the same budget as Samsung for advertising

The Samsung MDF (market development fund) is over $100 million this year alone. The Rant and the Instinct are considered consumer devices which will get reactionary purchases based upon advertising. The Diamond and Pro are considered Pro-sumer devices that have followings in IT and occult groups that create their own buzz for products.

Any device that has a pre-order thread on ten or more different web sites, probably doesn't need a whole lot of advertising. We line up at the FCC website just waiting for an approval so we can start figuring out how to get a qualified upgrade or discount out of executive care. Why advertisie?
