Sprint has already agreed to get me the Touch Pro for $249.99

It all started with a complaint about my Touch at my local Sprint store. They wouldn't help me, since the problems "didn't affect the phone's functionality." I went ahead and shot an e-mail over to eCare about my experience at the Sprint store, and the original offer was to swap my Touch out for free, or give me the Diamond for $199.99. I replied back to them that I heard about the Touch Pro coming out on the 19th, and they responded with an offer of $299.99 for that phone. I responded, telling them it's ridiculous that they're willing to give me a great deal on the Diamond, but only a "good" deal on the Touch Pro, so they then offered the Touch Pro for $249.99, before rebates. Sounds like a good deal to me!

I'm awaiting an e-mail from them telling me how I go about claiming one of these bad boys.

EDIT: I just realized...that's cheaper than I got my Mogul with a 2 year contract...holy crapola. lol

Also, to add...

I'm so excited to have a real keyboard again. I have become quite used to the Touch's on-screen keyboard, but tactile feedback is irreplaceable. Besides, having each key be ONE letter is nice. lol I miss my Mogul

Haha I bet. I would never own an touch screen only phone I need them KEYS like an Colombian drug lord

and right now I'm trying to see if I can get any more discount off on my bill since I have a good friend who works deep into sprint. I know its to late for the SERO plan

but I'll take anything like 15% off on my bill something! Cheaper data plan something!!! Haha

15% off the Everything Plan would actually be a pretty good deal.

Yeah, keys are important. I spend maybe 200 minutes a month talking, but my data, e-mail, and text messaging usage is through the roof.

congrats on a sweet deal.u guys should check with your jobs,banks,credit unions etc. because sprint gives deals to alot of organizations.i'm just waiting to see what this "sprint premier customer" thing does on the 19th. BTW:i get 21% off a month because my wife is a school teacher.

Yea I get 30% off my bill a month...trying to see if I can get more since my friend works for sprint. Every lil bit helps

30%? wtf?!? You need to hook me up, lol. Right now I'm trying to see if I can find a way to get Sprint to wave the damn rebate and just give me the phone for $299.99.
