Update:

So...confusion arose when I asked if I had to renew with a 2 year extension or not, because the representative did not specify. After several e-mails back and forth, I started to get a little angry with how I was being misled, and finally got someone who explained everything. I will have to extend my contract (which I guess I don't mind as long as I get to keep SERO), but he will also give me an ADDITIONAL $50 off the phone for my troubles, taking the cost down to $199.

Let's hope it works.
