So using QPST SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD I loaded an NV ITEM file from the wrong phone onto my Touch Pro, now it stays at "TOUCH PRO" boot screen, WITHOUT showing the red ROM/RADIO version numbers. I can go into the boot loader and flash roms, but when rebooting it doesn't fix it.. and now QPST won't see it as it doesn't come up on any USB COMM Ports, even in boot loader mode, even though I can still flash it with the RUU Util from the boot loader mode. Anyone?

Presuming that US Cellular is a CDMA carrier, if it were me, I would:

go into bootloader and install the relocker Raphael_CDMA_Relocker (soft-reset)

go into bootloader and install the stock us cellular rom, which includes a radio, etc. (soft-reset)

After this, see what the phone does and reply to the thread with your results.

Thanks.. went there, I'm logged into the live support.. I just typed in "SOS" in the ppckitchen channel, said I needed help, and posted a link to this thread.. anything else I should do? Oh, and I also PM'd ImCoKeMaN. Still waiting for a response...

i think you need to turn on radio using mtty and then reconnect qpst. it used to be rtask c, but you might need MFG SPL

note: i have no idea what results this will give you on TP, i have only done it on 6800, dont blame me for anything

petermg, I'd suggest that you see what dcd can help you arrive at.

dcd, it appears that petermg still has the stock (0.40) spl, so I am presuming that the phone was never unlocked? petermg, please clarify.

If not, then perhaps unlocking with (0.37), flashing the stock rom and see where that puts him may be a reasonable course of action?
