Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

I think that 2010-02-21 build had busted wifi. This one should be working. Neither of them is actually any improvement, but I just wanted to see if people found the touchscreen to be more well-behaved this way. Here's a build with the touchscreen tweaks and wifi. Still not really worth upgrading to except out of curiosity.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

I have this working and usable, I am enjoying my touchpro once again! My only issue is that I cant attach to my work exchange server (for contacts & email) web browsing works fine, phone works fine but when I try to add exchange it says "unable to open connection to server".

I had searched this thread a couple times but haven't come up with a fitting answer, any ideas?

Sometimes it takes a reset to get stuff to work properly.

Pardon me if I missed in back in this thread somewhere... but how do you apply these? I was toying around with this on my deactivated Touch Pro and I'm really impressed by the work you guys did. Very responsive! I can't wait until the Touch Pro2 build catches up to this one. WiFi worked great on the one I was using from yesterday(2/22).

Take the files from the first post and replace them with the ones in the post you quoted. Have all the files in the root of your SD card and launch Haret.exe from within WinMo. Wait for it to load/setup. First run can take up to 10-15 minutes, but usually finishes in under 5.

Updating kernels? Just unzip the new kernel and zimage files on to the SD card, then run Haret.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Awesome work guys, didn't realize I wasn't using the Feb 18 kernel at first and couldn't figure out why microphone and CDMA Data (Telus) wasn't working. Upgraded to Feb 18 kernel, and it's working awesome.

Can't wait for bluetooth and GPS to work. Really want to try out the Android 2.1 turn-by-turn on my Touch Pro.

mak, after each update should we be deleting the data.img file and let it build a new one for us?
