the W and the 4 key doesnt work that well you have to really push down on it

Thanks. I just wanted to be sure that it was not an LED hardware defect or something. I was also under the assumption that it's supposed to blink regularly like my Mogul/Titan did.

If the LED only serves as a notification indicator, what would be the reason for it sometimes blinking green and, at other times, orange. Why not just orange all the time? Are there options for this im missing out on or something? I feels kind of silly saying this, but Im actually a little confused about the whole function and purpose of the TP2's LED. Can someone help me out?

I got a question, my screen is starting to flicker in and out and I hate going to the Sprint store to tell them my problem so I was thinkin if I do it over the phone, what are the chances for them to send me The Touch Pro2 or should I wait till they have them in the store but still what are the chances? Are they still in there warehouses or they gone too?

If you are experiencing a genuine hardware defect, and you have TEP, id say the chances are pretty good that you can either convince Customer care to send you a replacement or go the insurance route...assuming you have that feature on your monthly plan. And even if you dont, id give it a shot anyways. Dosent hurt to try, dear friend.

Edit: I just re-read your post and realized that youre hoping for a TP2 as a replacement. Thats a whole different ballpark. Youre going to have to do some real good convincing there, buddy. Either that you just gotta be lucky as hell. Goodluck to you anyhow.

I'd expect their will be Touch Pro refurbs for quite awhile. Heck, Sprint is still selling the TP1's new on their site. If you've had multiple returns for defects on the TP1 you might be able to get an upgrade that way though.

When I first fired mine up, all the hard buttons, including the keyboard wouldn't respond. I called and the tech told me to pull the battery and see if that would fix it, because he had a TP1 and it did the same thing every now and then. The other problem I have is it will randomly throw in the letter "b" when I'm typing on the keyboard.

Are you sure the "b" isn't being typed accidentally due to its close proximity to the space bar? I know I've had to learn to be careful with the space bar or I type the "b" or the "."

the sliding keyboard slides in too much to where the sides are no longer flush to the unit, also the "s" key on the keyboard doesn't want to work unless I press real hard on it... anyone on sprint get a replacement unit yet? are they sending out refurbs already?
