Rhod500 only selects the keyboard layout. Did you uncheck Force CDMA? You are really pushing the envelope here.

Yeah, that was the first thing i unticked, it didn't select any service i manually searched through the netwrosk and chose the right one, i currently have a issue with the wi-fi as it detects my wireless connection but yet when i connect wifi states "disconnected" im researching the issue right now, though don't seem to be in any luck

does your startup.txt have a "force cdma" command line in it??? if so, as most do, delete it..

make sure your SIM is in and boot... hopefully should be ok now

You were 100% about the force cdma in the default start up, removed and rebooted android, i have just come across my issue luckly, it is actually due to the Build does not support WEP wireless networks, so looks like no wireless for me!

Re: CDMA/GSM TP2 what android device model to run android in GSM?

you can always go back to good ol WM and use wifi. or get a data plan through your provider. most of us here in the US have to subscribe to a data plan when we purchase a smartphone, the only way around it is to buy an unlocked GSM version.
