Mobile Shell 3.5

Whats up guys?

Well I recently got myself a copy of SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 (yes, I actually BOUGHT it)

anyway, I am looking for some Themes, but am having a little trouble locating some. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this?

I want a theme that turns the Menu Bar (at the bottom) into an "Android like" setup (like the picture below):

I have located a couple, but NOT ONE that is supported by WVGA (only VGA and QVGA). Is there anything out there like this for us Rhodium users?

I also wanted to know if there was any mods that will let me click on ANY of the carousel tabs (not just the one in the foreground), for example:

Lets say I open up the carousel and want to click on the tab that is in the far back, can I just click on it to open it, or do I ALWAYS have to spin it around so its up front? (not a big deal, but would like the option).

One last thing, are there any other themes out there for us Mobile Shell (WVGA) Users? I seriously can't find any.

Thanks for any help you can provide me.

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5

I believe I have tried that one. It gave me an error and told me I needed Mobile Shell 3.5.2 (I have 3.5.5 I believe).

Where can I get a back copy of 3.5.2 (Their site only offeres the 3.5.5 as far as I can tell).

sorry to be such a pain about this. I just really hate that boring ass rectangle menu bar. The curved Sense bar is so much more beautiful (Though I saw a crazy one last night and can't find it again to save my life now, lol)

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5

ok, I am assuming you mean download the qa_layouts.dat?

I did that, however, when I went into my SPB Mobile Shell folder (in order to replace the defaulted file), and I noticed that I did not have a "stock" qa_layouts.dat

Should I just go ahead and throw this one in there, or am I looking in the wrong folder?

I got to the SPB Mobile via this route:

My Windows Based Mobile Device--Program Files--Spb Mobile Shell

Sorry to be a bother, really want the Sense (android) tab, and I am getting nowhere fast, lol.

(Usually I am good with these sort of things, I swear, lol)

Edit - Well I found the file, replaced it (without issue). Went back into my File Explorer, clicked on "Mobile Sense" and still got hit with the "Need to install Mobile Shell version 3.5.2" error. So still dead in the water.

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5

i believe its a hidden file, go to menu > show all files and it should pop up. if not still copy it in there and try, cant hurt, if there is a stock one, back it up to sd just to be safe

OR

I dont know if this would work but here is the trial download for ms 3.5.3 you could try your serial and then mobilesense will work

Re: Mobile Shell 3.5

Well yes and no. I found the file and for some reason I was still getting an error. Then did a reflash and tried again and it worked....for like 3 minutes. As soon as I woke my phone up out of its sleep (the lazy prick), it reverted back to its old menu bar.

So after getting frustrated, me and my brother just said screw it and started to program around with our own coding and now I got it up and running (quite nicely to if I do say so myself, lol).

So thanks for all the help and words of wisdom guys.

....Thanks all around (literally)
