Restore programs tab in stock sprint rom?

Is there a cab that adds an extra tab to the stock TF3D that we would recognize as the programs tab? I think having the tf3d start menu AND the programs tab would be very useful...

There is a cab that brings back the programs tab like on the TP1. You'll need to do a search, but I think it's in the stickied thread, "Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks,..."

There is also a way to configure the "Home" hard key to go to the Programs tab once you install the cab, but you need "KeyBoard Configuration", which should also be in the aforementioned thread. Otherwise, once you install the programs tab, your "Home" key will open the drop-down start menu.

So look for "HTC Programs Tab" to get the Programs tab, then get "Keyboard Configuration" to remap your hard key. If I get a chance to later I'll upload both cabs plus the way to configure your hard key.

I must suck at searching. I'm not finding it. I'll continue to look though. At least someone confirmed it does exist lol

here it is. it does change the start menu back to the old 6.1 menu tho.

The way i worked around is by mapping another the back key to SKEY.EXE

This way I still have the Stock Start Menu on the Windows Key and Triple Click the back key to go in to the old 6.1 Start Key.

Someone else uploaded a cab for me.

As it turns out, the Programs tab must be something coded in a single file, and all these cabs do is move them from being presented as the start menu, to being presented as a tab.

I was REALLY hoping to have two programs sections with the same launcher style, but I guess I was wrong.

hey man, i was having problems posting on ppcg with my opera thats why i was making "phantom posts" all yesterday.

But ive got what you were looking for man! if you want the programs tab and want to keep the manila start menu, you need to get a registry editor. i use phm reg editor. then go to:

HKCU/software/htc/manilla then the key that says Manilla://programs.page.hidden
I changed the value on that to 0

After that, close out of the editor and soft reset. Power the phone back on and enjoy your programs tab man! o yea, dont forget to hit thanks
