HTC Trophy
If a CDMA version of the HTC Trophy is every released, I think it would be my ultimate phone. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I must say I'm not impressed. It looks like a blackberry. keyboard is exposed and buttons are way to small for normal hands so fat fingered people are in trouble. Screen/display small also. good luck seeing anything or browsing the net. hate to sound like im bashing it, but the pda market is competitive.

I think the images are deceptive. The screen on this device will be as large as the current HTC Touch Pro. This phone is aimed squarely at the business user. Think of all of those Palm Tro Pro, 700wx users who are just coming out of contract or who are out of contract and are looking for the same form factor.
Palm has left the WinMo world so there will be no joy for all of the previous Palm users. This HTC device offers a very nice upgrade. Faster processor, more memory and storage and A LARGER SCREEN to boot. I still use my Treo 700wx from work as my primary device. It has been flashed with WinMo 6.1, but it is slow. It is built like a tank and has been dropped numerous times and still works. I will be getting the Trophy as my next phone as long as it comes to Sprint (Where work has their service). I would LOVE a faster phone that can render HTML mail faster than a snails pace. The front facing keyboard make the device a lot more one handed than a slider device like the Touch Pro 2 or a no keyboard device like the Touch HD.

That looks pretty much like my perfect phone: Front facing qwerty with a large and high-res capacitive screen.
If I knew it were coming out soon and for my carrier (Sprint), I'd probably wait for it, but of course we don't know those details yet. I wonder when we will.

Don't like it, perhaps cuz I've had a few crackberrys and it reminds me distinctively of one... Regardless it's made by HTC still, not tickling my fancy at all...
