I think the images are deceptive. The screen on this device will be as large as the current HTC Touch Pro. This phone is aimed squarely at the business user. Think of all of those Palm Tro Pro, 700wx users who are just coming out of contract or who are out of contract and are looking for the same form factor.
Palm has left the WinMo world so there will be no joy for all of the previous Palm users. This HTC device offers a very nice upgrade. Faster processor, more memory and storage and A LARGER SCREEN to boot.
I still use my Treo 700wx from work as my primary device. It has been flashed with WinMo 6.1, but it is slow. It is built like a tank and has been dropped numerous times and still works. I will be getting the Trophy as my next phone as long as it comes to Sprint (Where work has their service). I would LOVE a faster phone that can render HTML mail faster than a snails pace.
The front facing keyboard make the device a lot more one handed than a slider device like the Touch Pro 2 or a no keyboard device like the Touch HD.
