How do I change Calendar button

My buttons stoped working on my phone. At the bottom of the desktop I have calendar and contacts buttons. I want to change calendar to phone so it will bring up the phone pad.

I think he means that his buttons don't work and he wants to replace the contacts thats on the bottom of the screen(in the interface) with a Phone.

What Windows Version are you using and are you using standard UI or HTC home/etc?

aka those buttons are part of the UI..you can easily get a UI that replaces them like this:

You need a softkey changer app. Look in the commonly requested apps thread. I used Advanced Config to change mine but you have to have netcf3.5 to use Advanced Config. You should be able to find a simple softkey changer app though.

That is what I think I need. I am using 6.1 oem rom from HTC
