Music through Blue tooth to car stereo

Has anyone tried to stream music via BT to a BT compatiable car audio receiver?

yes.
I used BlueTooth Audio by Blade2032.
Works good...
1 issue my car BT is MONO... it sounded but way too bad, even with tweaking with tcpmp player. Can be done, but unfortunately Holden BT('06 GTO) is not an option...
but for the sake of experimenting. It was done.

You might want to find a receiver that can do AVRC profile as well so you can control the song playback via the stereo buttons instead of fiddling with a touchscreen on your phone. I don't know if something like that exists yet, but it only makes sense and I wouldn't waste money on a reciever that didn't have it.

MK6100 with display

and the HU replacement
RHYTHM N'BLUE

http://www.parrotkits.com (i don't work for them)
sell lots of plug and play harness for different cars, $$ spent well worth the time and frustration of trying to make the harness yourself.

iber have you done the JointStereo tweak on your phone? by default i think the Mogul's A2DP is mono

I will be installing the MK6100 this weekend

Got The MK6100 installed yesterday, it works great with the Mogul!

The harness make everything so simple so it was well worth the money, most of the time was spent taking out the stereo and finding places to put everything.

no BT headset choppiness issue, all my friends report that I was loud and clear and they can't tell I'm not using a regular phone but was rather on the speakerphone style with the parrot.

A2DP works great. Phone book sync automatically just like it should.
