Mogul Auto-Mute...DO NOT WANT!!! HLP PLS!

Ok, so for some reason my phone keeps putting itself in silent mode. I'm not doing it, I don't know what's causing it. Has anyone else seen this?

If you haven't done so already....do a soft reset. Also, what other apps did you recently install?

Any chance you are using HTC Home's "Automatic" Sound profile? It turns the ringer and other sounds off when you have calendar appointments, etc.

Have done soft-resets for other problems. (No sound from phone when making calls...txt message input box goes behind status bar.) No new apps I can think of.... Not using HTC Home. Standard Sprint ROM, latest 6.1pro version.

As coz said, are you using profile settings in HTC Home when your phone goes into an appointment?

Also, have you installed phoneAlarm or Spb Phone Suite?

The one I'm using, after I make call and hang up it seems to occasionally turn the phone to silent. Only discovered that the bt headset was the cause the other day after I left it on my ear for a few minutes... it made a beep sound through the headset after a few minutes and my phone changed to silent.

I'm not sure what you mean by profile settings in HTC Home, so I doubt I'm using them. I thought the "home" thing was the big clock and message notifier, etc on the touch line. I'm running a stock rom, and I don't think that's on the mogul w/o adding it. No phoneAlarm or SPB anything. I do have a bluetooth headset...so thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out to see if mine's the same thing.

HTC Home has a profile manager. You may have accidentally done a few things with it.

Ok, I haven't looked into HTC Home (I like the home screen the way it is...it shows me everything I need at once). I thought it had to be "cooked" into a custom rom, not just loaded from .cab. I thought by saying "stock rom" I clarified that. Sorry for being unclear. I'm NOT using HTC home and thus could not be using a profile.

Ah I see...

I'm out of ideas. The only reason things should change automatically is if you have a service running in the background that is setting it as such.
