Is there anyway to remove the "Beam X" option?

When I create a new calendar entry there's the "Beam Appointment" right under the "New APpointment" Sometimes I accidently hit it and it would lag my phone for 5 seconds as it's looking for a device.

I just want to completely remove this option, is it possible?

It might be possible with a reg hack but then I still dont know.
