How I carrie more then one Micro SD card

So I was reading a thread about a case that had a pocket for the micro SD cards and someone mentioned that the battery cover had ridges that if HTC had just took an extra step, could have accommodated an SD card. This got me to thinking that it would not be to hard to use a dremmel tool to etch out a slot for a micro card, which is exactly what I did. Below are some photo’s I took to show how good it works.

this is before i begun

Yes, i am working on top of my washing machine

if you look closely, you can see i left a little nub sticking out on one of the ridges that fit
perfectly with the side of the sd card

this is what it looks like with the card in the new compartment

i have more then one card, so i decided to make more then one spot for them

they both fit perfectly

when attaching my battery cover, i held it level and swiveled my phone on to the cover to keep the cards from sliding around. the cover went on with no problem and now i don't have to worry about loosing my cards in my pocket. let me know what everyone thinks of my handy work.

I did the same exact thing except using a simple file. It works perfectly. Nice writeup.

I've gotta admit, that's purrty damn GENIUS. One question, though. I use WMWiFiRouter a lot, and the tele' sometimes feels like it's gonna melt. Will the heat adversely affect the MicroSDs in the least? I'm sure w/ regular use they'd be fine (otherwise, why the *&^$ would ya do it), but w/ WiFi I'm just a lil' apprehensive.

Thats a very good point. I'm not sure what the temperature these things start getting damaged at is.

But OP, THAT IS AWESOME! I'm trying it now

Think about it this way, the card is in the phone when its in use, and it seems to be fine.
