It's not a "fake" ROM but if you don't install the Sprint customizations you may need to seperately install a few programs.

IOTA is (I believe) install over the air. It will pull settings from Sprint for your data connection.

I looked for 3 hours. I only found a dead link in a post with alot of cab files. Instead of flaming me it would have been nice for you to post a link since YOU found it so easy.

When do you need to use this? Only if your data doesn't work after a ROM update? I have been using custom ROM's now for ever and not once have I ran IOTA??

Just curious.

Yup. Sometimes your data connection won't work after a flash. (I think) its random, but the IOTA cab fixed whatever problems you are having.
