Cant delete files?

My mogul wont let me delete files from my SD card..

Access is denied...Be certain that the file is not write protected and it is not currently in use....

Its a pic that i took with the phone...its not protected is it?

I formated the card...took another pic...still wont let me...any ideas?

I searched but couldn't find the answer...

Thanks

You might try to take the MicroSD card out of the Mogul and use an adapter and try deleting the file from the PC. See if it will let you do that? We can troubleshoot it more from there...

Did you by chance turn on Encryption 'ON'? If not this time, maybe before sometimes? Lets say, you have encryption on and you flash your phone to a different ROM, then it will not allow you to delete the file.

Also, what File Explorer are you using? File Explorer that comes with Windows Mobile isn't very good. Using Resco File Explorer seems to solve a lot of problems related with deleting/overwriting/renaming files.

Well, there is no such thing as write protecting the whole system (phone and sd card). I am not sure but as far as I know, MicroSD cards don't have the 'lock' (write protect) switch on them either.

Did you try Resco yet? Additionally...the easiet way I think to solve this issue is to reflash your phone with whatever ROM you currently have or want. However, if you don't want to do that, are there any programs that you installed recently (before this issue started) that manage files or file system?

After some more searching...I found there is an issue with MS Word?

I did open word up and save a file a few days ago...prompted me something about formating?...

Anyway...I really hate to flash everything...I havent had my phone too long and have everything like I like it..installed programs ect....

So sorry to be a pain...but...if I do have to install the new rom...is there a simple way to get my phone back the way it was...in a simple way?
