Cool video responses to youtube!

ok. i was watching tv and i saw the coolest thing ever. on the helio you can respond to a you tubevideo, with your own video from your phone kind of like a text almost. so i was wondering if any knew if it was possible to for the mogul to do it..

Don't count on it. We have to hack this phone enough just to watch the videos that are already up there.

I think ShoZu has a youtube link in their app, maybe that would work for you. I use it to upload to my flickr account. They have quite a few sites you can upload to.

I doubt it'll be that hard, especially since since youtube actually does all the encoding

the problem will probably be uploading to the youtube server

I don't know if this means that there is no data available whatsoever or if it just means 1xRTT can be used.

Helio is what's known as an MVNO of Sprint. They lease usage of Sprint's network so they don't have to pay for their own towers. They can roam onto anyone else's CDMA networks, though, just like Sprint users can. But their technical features are unique to them, so their extremely clever uses of YouTube, MySpace, GPS, Geotagging, and the rest will not come to us unless they go under and shift everything over to Sprint like some of the past MVNOs have. But SK Telecom keeps sinking 10s of millions into them, so they won't be going down without a fight.

I strongly considered the Ocean, and a coworker got it and loved it until the much-promised Exchange support turned out to cost an extra $10 a month. Then he canceled and bought a Mogul.
