Helio is what's known as an MVNO of Sprint. They lease usage of Sprint's network so they don't have to pay for their own towers. They can roam onto anyone else's CDMA networks, though, just like Sprint users can. But their technical features are unique to them, so their extremely clever uses of YouTube, MySpace, GPS, Geotagging, and the rest will not come to us unless they go under and shift everything over to Sprint like some of the past MVNOs have. But SK Telecom keeps sinking 10s of millions into them, so they won't be going down without a fight.

I strongly considered the Ocean, and a coworker got it and loved it until the much-promised Exchange support turned out to cost an extra $10 a month. Then he canceled and bought a Mogul.
