installed new ROM having trouble with HTC Touch Home

I just installed the new rom and am having troubles with the HTC home customizer. I have already HomePluginWM6 & HTC_touch_home_plugin along with the HTC audio manager files. I can't get the home customizer to update the today plug-in. everything stays in the default 3-tab configuration, even though I get a message saying that it updated successfully. has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

I also can't get the HTC grey background to install. whenever I click on the cab it takes me to the settings window to select a background but only the default ones are there.

any help?

a sprint tech said that htc meesed up on this update and is tellin every to go back to the old one they took the new off and put the old one back up
