App icon question

I have a program that lost it's icon during a hard reset. The program is still on the phone, but I can only access it by going through file explorer and locating it in program files. How can I get this to show up in "all applications"? Thanks

Re: App icon question

If you had performed a hard-reset on the phone, then the application would be gone.
There's only two ways it could still be there, one, it's really installed on your sdcard, or two, it's part of the actual rom you have flashed to your phone.
If it's part of your rom, it should be already in the all programs section.

Re: App icon question

Using a program called "file explorer extension," you can press and hold on the program you want to be in the programs menu and it will bring up an option to "send a shortcut to program menu." I've attached the program below. Just run the cab and you will have a few new features in your file explorer.

Another way to do it would be to just copy the .exe or make a link and paste it in Windows>Start Menu>Programs. File Explorer Extension is a nice program and I would recommend just using that.

Nice. I couldn't think of the name, lol. It's been so long since I've used file explorer.
I usually use total commander or resco explorer.

I am at a loss now. I cannot open file explorer without the error reporting screen coming up. How can I uninstall this cab?
