WM User helping Fiancee root her Hero
I need to get the Hero to sync, but put since the upgrade to 2.1 (version ends in 6) I have been trying to sync to put the 2.1 upgrade (ending in 5) on the Hero so that I can root it.
Whenever i click on the hero to sync, USB debug activates. I have it unselected but still activates. Pretty confused and any help would be amazing. Searched the threads for quite a while and couldnt find anything. Thanks. JM

Might be a silly question, but have you restarted your computer since installing HTC Sync? I had this problem yesterday (first Root ever!) and once I restarted I was ok..
