I need to get the Hero to sync, but put since the upgrade to 2.1 (version ends in 6) I have been trying to sync to put the 2.1 upgrade (ending in 5) on the Hero so that I can root it.

Whenever i click on the hero to sync, USB debug activates. I have it unselected but still activates. Pretty confused and any help would be amazing.

Searched the threads for quite a while and couldnt find anything. Thanks.
